“Uncle Tim”: Yes, Leftists Are Very Racist
Leftist racism has been hiding in plain sight, yet we refuse to see it.
There’s something to be said for the left being America’s most outgoing racists. Forget the KKK and severe alt-right, because we all know that they’re the worst of the worst. For years, we have excused leftist racism because of their empty platitudes and feigned indignance. But that mask is slipping after Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) delivered a poignant and insightful Republican rebuttal to President Biden’s sleep-inducing, radical State of the Union address.
For the record, the left has a track record of racism extending back to the 19th century and beyond. Democrats were the party of slavery, with Republicans serving as the anti-slavery group in Washington D.C. Once the Civil War ended and the 13th Amendment was passed, Democrats moved their attention to a new way to oppress black people: Jim Crow. It’s no accident that, up until 1964, southern states almost always voted blue. Then, you get to the faux “Southern Switch,” a phrase the left uses to show how Republicans became the racists.
But what the Southern Switch, real or not, doesn’t account for is the modern and obvious bigotry of leftists. One of their favorite terms is “Uncle Tom,” which is used to demean African-Americans who oppose the extreme socialist regime advocated for by BLM and other activist groups. It is used to destroy intellectual diversity. Let’s be frank- until the left removes “Uncle Tom” from their vocabulary, they are the real racists, not the Republicans who believe everyone is perfectly capable of living in America and pursuing the American dream. The left is constantly looking to remove people like Clarence Thomas (setting a track record of false accusations of sexual harassment or abuse in Supreme Court nominations), Candace Owens, and Thomas Sowell. The monster is self-destroying, though, as even President Obama has been dubbed with the derogatory term.
This past week, Senator Tim Scott ended up with his own renewed accusations of being a sellout to blacks. The blue checkmarks came out in full force to prove just how racist they are. Take a read:
Ironically, in his speech, Senator Scott said, “I get called ‘Uncle Tom’ and the N-word — by ‘progressives.’ By liberals.” This did not deter the Twitterverse from getting #Uncle Tim to trend until Twitter was pressured into removing it. Make no mistake- this is a slur that America has deemed okay because it is used by the left. I can guarantee that if President Trump called Senator Scott an Uncle Tom, the outcry would result in a second June 2020 (or third, or fourth, however you want to look at it). But no. Because this is leftists, it’s acceptable.
We have politicians calling the man an “oreo” and pundits on MSNBC saying that he refuses to see the supposed truth that America is racist (Scott said he had experienced racism personally but that the country as a system was not racist itself), yet we continue to turn a blind eye to this sort of thing.
The left has certainly been emboldened by their racist response to the election-affirming Georgia voter law. They called it racist for requiring voter ID, purporting that racial minorities are somehow incapable of acquiring one compared to white people. Stacey Abrams, a noted election-denier, has been leading the charge to make elections insecure with racist claims of racism. The entire thing is backward in the most disgusting way possible.
So the left doesn’t even attempt to hide their racism anymore. The soft and loud bigotry has been apparent for years, yet the rest of us have turned a blind eye. They claim to be tolerant and antiracists, yet they’re the most racist of them all! It’s why being an antiracist isn’t important to true leftists; the end goal is and has always been to drive division among Americans to the point where we fall apart as a nation. And they’re using the sole black Republican in the Senate to do this.
“Uncle Tim” isn’t a new phenomenon. African-American conservatives have been called race traitors for years. Condoleeza Rice was excommunicated from the Church of the Left way back in the W. Bush Administration, and even then she wasn’t the start. Conservatives of all races need to stand up for the black enemies of leftists. If we don’t, doesn’t that make us all “Uncle Toms”?
